Who are we? Well it's only me Eje Gustafsson. And today the consultant part of the company is shutdown. But soon I will start up things and start accepting consultant and web-service jobs. I started to work at a company called Saven Data as a backup and storage solutions consultant in November 1998. Saven Data was recently bought up by Merkantildata as of 9th of April 1999. The mother company Saven still exists. I do the same job there as I did earlier at Saven Data in Merkantildata.
As of the 10th of August I will no longer be working at Merkantildata since I will be moving to Pittsburg, KS in the USA. That is a big move to go from Sweden to United States and the reason for that is a lady now named Beverly Gustafsson. We did get married the 7th May 1999. On her homepage you can find info about her and there is also a slideshow from our wedding. Supermom's homepage or go directly to the slideshow with pictures from our wedding Supermom and MacAhan's wedding.
In the states I will become a partner in a company that is called The Family Entertainment Network. They
are an local ISP in Pittsburg, KS and also sells computer systems to both companies and privat persons. If you want we do offer a deal to rent-to-own systems.
As a ISP we do offer local people in Pittsburg a cheap way to get full access to internet
over our dail-in lines and out on our T1 connection. But we also host websites and domains
for companies and privat persons.
If you are interrested in having us host your domain contact Sales@fament.com and we will give you a price offer
for hosting your site.
We can host your site on either a unix system or a NT system. Most systems but straylightdata.com is today hosted on our NT servers.
What have I done more in the past ? Well I have been working at a place called The Aeronautical Research Institute of Sweden for 3 years during 1995-1998. The work I do there is system-administration, and user support. The systems I'm working with there are mostly SGI, HP-UX, Linux, NT and some BSD system.
At FFA (The Aeronautical Research Institute of Sweden) we were 6 people working full time with the systems.
We were working in different areas but were overlapping each other. My primary work was Unix and Network which toke up 90% of my time. I also handeld the backup system they have there.
I have worked allot with Legato Network 4.4, 5.1 and 5.5 as backup-system and has given a couple of courses about Legato 4.4 and help a couple of companies to setup there backup-systems. Today I also have a Systemadministrator certificate for Legato.
If you need an instructor for Unix training's or Networker training's I can help out. In my new job I work as a Backup and storage solutions expert.
I also used to sell PC computers and equipment a couple of year's back. But today I don't do that anylonger.
